Did You Miss Me? - "The Ducktators"

The majority of prints of Norman McCabe's classic WWII cartoon "The Ducktators" usually close with a fade-out after the Jerry Colonna rabbit hits himself with a mallet. But in the original version, the cartoon continues, showing the shadows of the three ducktators running away. The minuteman on a War Bonds poster comes out of it and shoots them. We then see the dove of Peace at home showing his nephews, Peace and Quiet, the heads of the ducks mounted on the wall as trophies. A phrase appears below the heads, saying "If you'd like to make this true, This is all you have to do", followed by a sign encouraging to buy War Bonds.

And now, here is the original end sequence. Enjoy!

Yours Truly, mmm...donuts
